Notes: Ahmet Büyükçopur's White Pipes are made in Eskisehir, Turkey. Apart from decoratively carved pieces, which he sells as 'Artwork Pipes', Büyükçopur specializes in sensibly sized pipes made in the Danish style (see picture).

Comments: This is a brand for people who want a 'modern' meer, rather than the standard English shapes or sculptural pipes, which dominate most producers' portfolios. Be prepared for one drawback that comes with most meerschaums - a slightly clunky bit. Apart from that, you can expect solid workmanship and tasteful design at astonishingly low prices.
