Notes: Chonowitsch pupil (and close friend) Jörn Larsen doesn't share most Danes' rather embarrassed attitude to machinery. He says he uses technology when it makes sense and uses his hands for everything else - basing the decision on results, not purism.

He and Jess collaborate to produce the house pipes for an exclusive pipe dealer in Zurich (Wagner). Chonowitsch influence is also betrayed in Larsen's round stamp.

Comments: Jörn's pipes are reputed to smoke like those of Jess Chonowitsch - and in my experience this is no myth. They are also exquisitely made, with an almost superhuman sense for detail and finish. Easily the best value for money among the more reasonably priced Danish high-grades.
